Another babys Knitted cardigan and hat

Hi,
Before this really hot weather set in,  I made another babys cardigan and matching hat,   this was a bit wool I had to use up and I enjoyed knitting this wool.   I have knitted this wonderful pattern quite a few times and always looks good when I finish it,  The pattern is by Marianna and this is her famous top-down cardigan with sleeves.

The hat is also her pattern but I changed the pattern to match the cardigan.   I knitted it in this random colour double knitting wool for the size of is a 0 to 3 month old baby.  I have no idea the make of the wool as I was using up some from stock.
If you want to see more of Marianna knitting she has a blog and her is link blog

CD Sunday Challenge # 15 anything goes using something from a CD

Hi,
Time for another CD Sunday challenge,  this time it is hosted by Jane.
For my card I used a piece of backing paper from Glitter and Glitz Art Deco Christmas by Debbi Moore.   My image is rather special to me,  this is a photo I took of the Northern Lights on the 30th January this year on our cruise in Norway.  I put the image slenting because it came the sense of moment which the northern lights do across the sky.  I matted the image on the Hunydory Silver bushed miri card.  The trees are a die from Creative Expressions winter trees which I used glitter card from Craftshash.  To finish off I add the santa Reindeer,  made a silver ribbon bow and added a happy christmas peel off.   The reindeer added a memory to us as  on the cruise,  its like beef but has an earthy taste.

CD Sunday challenge now has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD no matter how small and let us know which CD you used.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend

Baby’s knitting

Hi
Sometimes you just fancy something different and it use up a bit of wool,  well this was the case with this baby’s top and hat.  I have knitted this wonderful pattern quite a bit and always looks good when I finish it,  The pattern is by Marianna and this is her famous top-down cardigan with sleeves.

The hat is also her pattern but I changed the pattern to match the cardigan.   I knitted it in pale blue and the size of is a 0 to 3 month old baby, knitted in double knitting wool.  I have no idea the make of the wool as I was using up some from stock.
I have just finished another one which I will post when I have seen it up and sewn on the buttons.

It’s also my birthday today,  when I worked in the City of London the American companies always had the American flags flying,   always made the day a little better when you have to work on your birthday.
