CD Sunday Challenge # 55 Anything goes

 Hi,

Gosh the end of February already where has this month gone,  we are still in lockdown at least its giving me time to craft, although my motivation has waned recently.

This fortnight the challenge is as always anything goes and is hosted by Pamela.

For my card I used Enchanted dreams CD by Joanna Sheen, for the image and background,  the die cut butterflies came from Paper cuts collection butterfly garden and I used silver miri card,  I matted the image onto silver bushed miri card from Hunkydory and added a blue ribbon bow.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from,   and that it is a card or a project.    Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend

My Amaryllis

 Hi,

I was given this bulb by a friend for Christmas,  and wow has it grown,  it’s very tall and each flower is eight inches in dia.

After a horrible week with the the vaccine jab,  I feel I have gone eight rounds in a boxing ring,  the fibromyalgia did nit like the jab at all,  my arm where they put it is still painful,  at least every mussel and joint and bone in my body is not causing me pain.  They said I would get a high temperature,  I was so cold I felt as if I was in a freezer.  My second one is in May of joy of Joy’s to go though this again.

Hooe you are staying safe well,  and for those of you in the USA warm.

 Hi,

Two hearts finished for Valentine’s Day,  this is Heart of Eva by Ewa Wasylizzyn,  which she gave to a tatting group on Facebook.

The red one is lizbeth thread  no 20 In Christmas red small rings and chains and Cranberry Brush on the large rings inside.

The pink one is Lizbeth thread, no 20 also in Pink ice for the small rings and chains and Spring Garden on the large rings inside.

I love this pattern and will do more of these.

Hi,
Happy Valentine’s Day ,  hope you have a lovely day
Time for another challenge at the CD Sunday Challenge blog,  we are still in lockdown hopefully it wont be long before we can at least start to think of a more normal life,  crafting is one thing lockdown has not stopped us doing.  This fortnight the challenge is hosted by Carol
My card for this fortnight is another christmas card and for this one I used Christmas Enchantment CD by Debbi Moore along with her poinsettia die set.  I used the image and matching backing paper from the CD, the image was matted onto gold card,   I used gold corner  peel offs,  a red and gold ribbon and a red feather with the red and gold ribbon in the spray of poinsettia.

Tatting button motifs

 Hi

At the moment it’s tatting with buttons on Facebook,  here are two I have done using 12th January button pattern by Diane Cardemartoti Lace loving Librarian,  I used a button on the top one and a dodad on the picture on the left.  I was short of buttons but I now have some sparkly donut buttons to try and some mother of Pearl buttons that arrived yesterday by post so watch this space as they say.

I use Lizbeth thread no 20 called Nigara Falls.

Stay safe,  well and warm it’s very cold outside

Art Deco competition card

 Hi,

I have entered this card into another competition at Debbi Moore designs.  I used Christmas enchantment CD  by Debbi Moore for the card,   Matted the imaged on dark blue card,  used a design sheet of a room for the backing, and finished off with gold  peel offs and gold glitter on the Christmas tree.   I added some white silk roses with die cut foliage and  white ribbon

I don’t know where January went it disappeared into lockdown,  we are still in lockdown,  the snow we had last weekend did just change the scene from our windows for a while.  We are forecasted to get snow again sometime during the week,  at the moment the sun is shining  with a cold east wind from Russia

Stay safe and well

Margaret
