CD Sunday Plus Challenge - # 22 Anything goes ( Debbi Moore)

Hi,
As usual our challenge this fortnight is Anything goes as long as its from a CD, USB or a Digital material.
This fortnight I am hosting the challenge for CD Sunday Plus, I meet Debbi Moore at a craft show in Shepton Mallet in April,   we the team were  delighted to have been given from Debbi Moore CDs to work from for this challenge,  we as a team thank Debbi Moore for her generosity.
Because we have used Debbi Moore’s CDs this is still anything goes challenge but I you would like to use one of her CDs, USBs or one of her downloads from her web site please feel free to do so.
For my card I have used the Once upon a Fairytale CD,   there are some beautiful images on this CD,  I actually made this card into a christmas card,  using the image and a backing paper from the CD,   I used the snowflake die by Chloe and cut two splitting them in half placing one each side of the image and them on the sides of the card,  I used Hunydory silver brushed miri card to cut them out with,  I place a spray of dark blue roses and foliage with blue ribbon at the bottom of the card and finished the card off with blue ribbon and a silver peel off.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend

Parga Train to waterfall and the Museum

Hi,
We decided to go on a train ride in Parga to the Watermill and Museum,   It was a hot day and the ride was lovely to go up into the hills that surround Parga.
This is us sat waiting for the train to go and the girl guide took our picture for us.

The views of the bay were lovely but hard to photo as every so often a tree would get in the way.

This is the weatermill,  the owner of the mill was there giving a talk on how the mill milled the corn into flour,   the picture below is the grinder were the corn would fall into and how the water from the hills was used to work the grinder.

Unfortunately I was not able to walk up to the waterfall,  the lane up to the waterfall was very steep and rough,  I sat in the shade while Vernon negotiated the way to and back down to the Museum.
He took these pictures of the waterfall the first one is the top and the second is the bottom

Here are some pictures of the garden in the Hotel just thought I would take a few as they had some beautiful plants.

Well thats finishes off our Holiday for this year,  its been a year of travel  starting with Norway and the Northern Lights and two visits to Greece,  I do hope you have enjoyed our travels

CD sunday Challenge Plus # 21 Anything goes

Hi,
Time for another challenge at CD sunday plus,  again its anything goes,  as long as its something from either a CD, USB or a digital material,  this fortnight the challenge is hosted by Wynn.

For this challenge I used the Sunflower CD by Debbi Moore,  this is a beautiful CD I recommend it has some beautiful images on it.  I used several images off one sheet and placed them in a paper doily adding a ribbon down the side and matching bows at the top of two images,  plus two sentiments that were on the same sheet.  The backing paper came with the images I was going to use folded for a change,  well there is a fold on one side but when crafting things never quite work out how you think.  I wanted to make something different and I think I achieved it with this card.

Travelling Lace in Greece

Hi,
Another post with the Lacy the Travelling lace,  she came with us to Parga Greece and had a great time using her in the photos,  some of you will have seen some of the photos of Parga already but these are similar or the same but with lacy in.

This shows Parga castle on top of the hill,  there was no way I could walk up to the castle as it was steps all the way up and they were steep most of the way.

These are a few of Parga harbour and bay,
My husbands hand got in the picture a few times its not easy to hold a piece of lace and take a photo,  I kept getting her to near the lens as you can see in pone or two of them

We took a train ride up to the watermill and Museum    not the best idea first I had trouble getting onto the train as it was high up,  (i'm only short)  but I managed it in the end and then when we got to the watermill where they used to ground wheat for flour using the power of water.   There was a steep path up to the waterfall,  Lacy and I stayed in the shade while Vernon walked up to the waterfall for some photos.  He took the picture of the waterfall.

Well that was our Journey with her to Greece shes been out and about again with me in Somerset but I will have to send her on her way to the next member of Craftree  for next venture soon.
