Blogger

 Hi,

Have you checked your spam folder on your blog recently,  nearly every day for the past fortnight I have at least six or seven, even more spam comments,  I have checked them out,  usually they are two words like “very pretty”,  or even “merry Christmas”,    But they are old comments I mean old dating back to 2014 or even earlier,  they were published under the dates quoted,  they are all regular contributors to my blog. But suddenly they are popping back up as marked spam,

I don’t know if it’s just my blog,  or what’s going on,  but blogger is slowing driving me potty

CD Sunday challenge # 109 - Anything goes

Hi,

Here we are at the end of April and the coronation of King Charles the third will be at the beginning of May,  but before that we have another challenge at CD Sunday,  this fortnight our host will be Jocelyn.

For my card this fortnight,  we had a new baby born into the family and I made this card for her,  I used a download from tatted lace magazine no 65,  I cut a circle out of the card and used the backing sheet that went with the elephant.  I cut two elephants one placed on the card and then the other I decoupaged.  I added a die of baby girl die this came from the advert calendar I brought a few years ago from tatted lace, I thought they were very small for the amount of money charged for the advent calendar.  I made a white ribbon bow and attached to the card

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from,   and that it is a card or a project.    Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend

CD Sunday Challenge # 108 - anything goes

Hi,

Gosh we are now in the middle of April and the year is flying by,  on the 18th April CD Sunday will be 13 years old,  gosh it only seems like yesterday that I joined them,  time does fly,  although I have not been with them for the whole time,  I can’t remember when I did join their challenges and then became a DT member,   It’s time for another challenge at the CD Sunday Challenge blog, as usual its anything goes,  This fortnight I am hosting the challenge

For my card I used Pet Set CD by La Pashe  I matted the images and sentiment on brown card,  the main image I decoupage with several layers.  the backing paper came with the images.  I finished off the card with silver horse shoe peel offs.,CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

Happy Easter and the Endrucks 1920 Tatting Project

Hi,

Happy Easter,  I hope you are having a lovely Easter,  we became Great Aunt and Uncle during Thursday   night, this is a sister to Mabel and she is called Maisy.

The Endrucks project which is updating an old book is at the moment on baskets,  see the picture below,  i tatted the basket and then some flowers for the basket,  the three large flowers are from the project earlier,  I then used up some thread from my shuttles to make the other flowers,  the trailing flowers and leaves,  some other leaves and sewed them onto card,  adding beads to the middles of the flowers. Plus adding a butterfly in the top corner

Have a lovely weekend,
Margaret

CD Sunday challenge - # 107 Anything goes

Hi,

Time for another challenge at the CD Sunday Challenge blog,  as usual its anything goes as long as its from a CD, USB, or digital material,  The host this fortnight is Jo

For my card for fortnight I am using a free download from the Debbi Moore web site,   the main image and the sentiment are from the image download,  I have matted the image onto gold bushed card from Hunkydory,  The Ivy leaf corner die is from Joanna Sheen and the trees in pots are an X cut dies,  The backing paper is from a CD which I found in my scrape box of printed paper from all sorts of CDS but I have no idea which CD is came from,  I did prefer it to the backing sheet that came with the image.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page
