Happy St George's Day

Hi,
I am a bit late but better late than never, today in England we celebrate St George's Day patron saint for England.  Unlike many other countries across the world we do not have a day off,  it's just another working day like any other.
Hope you have a great day at less the sun is shining and it's a beautiful day.
Hugs
Margaret

  1. It's good to know that you're having sunny weather more often! Hope you are feeling better. All kinds of things going on over there. The Queen's birthday and the imminent birth of Kate and William's second child!

    1. We can get snow in April occassionly in this country, Scotland is still getting some over the mountains, but I am down in the south in a region called the West Country and our weather is just a bit milder. Hope your weather improves soon.

    1. Yes Carollyn it is George who did slave the Dragon, as the book says, well there's no way of knowing if it's true but that's part of his story at least that's what I was told.

  6. Again Margaret, appoligies to you, but I am here.....
I agree with you, why we don't get a day to celebrate our St. is a burning question, did you even see anyone wearing a Rose, it really annoys me, and it's sad...take care.xx
