Hi,
I am a bit late but better late than never, today in England we celebrate St George's Day patron saint for England. Unlike many other countries across the world we do not have a day off, it's just another working day like any other.
Hope you have a great day at less the sun is shining and it's a beautiful day.
Hugs
Margaret

It's good to know that you're having sunny weather more often! Hope you are feeling better. All kinds of things going on over there. The Queen's birthday and the imminent birth of Kate and William's second child!
ReplyDeleteI just happened to read the story of St. George and the Dragon to my students this week... what a happy coincidence!
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret
ReplyDeleteHappy St George's Day
Enjoy the beautiful weather: yesterday it snowed here. growl.
ReplyDeleteWe can get snow in April occassionly in this country, Scotland is still getting some over the mountains, but I am down in the south in a region called the West Country and our weather is just a bit milder. Hope your weather improves soon.
DeleteI have that book too "St. George and the Dragon" Love it I am guessing that is the same one?
ReplyDeletehugs from Carollyn
Yes Carollyn it is George who did slave the Dragon, as the book says, well there's no way of knowing if it's true but that's part of his story at least that's what I was told.
DeleteAgain Margaret, appoligies to you, but I am here.....
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, why we don't get a day to celebrate our St. is a burning question, did you even see anyone wearing a Rose, it really annoys me, and it's sad...take care.xx
