Hi
This is first of three posts of baby knitting I have done recently, I know that the person it went to does not read and possibly does not know I have a blog, so I am safe in posting it, as it has been passed on to her, she is the partner of Vernon’s nephew and we know that she’s having a girl due anytime now.
Close up of the pattern
The pattern is wonder-soft Stardust no 9522, and I used James C. Brett baby marble wool double knitting wool in shades of pink. I also made a hat to match which was not in the pattern but I used the number is stitches from the other pattern

The hat, the photo looks a bit dark but it was the same wool and colour as the cardigan

Pretty stitch and I like the way it contrasts with stocking stitch. Lovely gift for a new baby.

My Blog As I do Rodos
Hi Margaret, this is a very pretty set, I still like to see a baby in 'proper' baby cloths if that makes sense, not dressed like a little woman.xx
ReplyDeleteYour knitted set is lovely. I hope the mother to be will appreciate it and keep it for the baby as a keep sake. I passed a set to my daughter when she was grown along with the matching outfit. Thank you for sharing your lovely work. Sandy R.
