jacaranda Motif Cross

 Hi,

At last I have finished this large cross,  I started it on holiday as we were staying in a Hotel called Jacaranda, in Tenerife,  we both came home ill with Covid, we are getting better but it’s been a long upward journey,   The holiday was booked 2019, carried forward from 2020 to 2021, and again 2021 to 2022.  Our journey home was eventful too with a delay of seven and half hours,  because the plane broke down in Bristol,  they had to go to Manchester to get another plane and then fly to Tenerife,  Bristol must be the worse airport with a lack of staff,  we waited one and half hours for the luggage when just 20 cases arrived,  of course none of them were ours,  so we had to wait longer for ours,  having left the hotel at 8.45 am we eventually arrived home at 2am the next day,

The  name Jacaranda is actually a tree that has blue flowers,  I used Lizbeth thread no 20 in Blue ice and Peacock blues thread. The pattern is by Lilliantatlace,  here is a link to her Blog,  she also has a nice free pattern for  oak leaves too.

  1. Jó kis kalandos út volt... Végül is jól végzödött minden... szerencsésen hazaérkeztettek...Csodás ez a fonal és a kész minta is..Idén nagyon hanyagoltam a frivolitást...nem is készült egy munka sem, sajnos...

  2. Phew, you’re going to need a holiday to recover from your holiday! The cross is beautiful. The jacarandas here are just finished flowering. More lilac than blue, but as spectacular as your cross.
