CD Sunday challenge - anything goes #150

 Hi,

Time for another challenge our second of the year,  and as usual it’s anything goes,  the host this fortnight is Carol

For my card this fortnight I used Sketch Book Collection Chapter V British Wildlife by Pollyanna Pickering,  I made a simple card with the matching background paper to the image, matted the image on silver card, and used a strip of paper border that came with the image across the card.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page the challenge and do not have a blog,

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from,   and that it is a card or a project.    Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.

Enjoy your weekend,

Meet Lil’Melly

 Hi,

Meet Lil’Melly unfortunately I did not enjoy knitting Lil’Melly that’s the name of the pattern by Amanda Berry Toy Collection.  It might be me but it seem to take me ages to do the pattern,   Usually I love knitting toys and I wanted to try this pattern mainly because it was an elephant,  I love elephants and as you know  I do knit a lot of them in various ways,  from football  elephants  to pretty girls with  girly outfits,  but this elephant and me did not hit it off. I did add a piece over the top of the head to make it look more Indian with some gold stitching,  but in the photo below the stitching is not showing up,  there’s also another photo showing a side view

This is one pattern that just won’t be done again.  I am glad it was a free pattern

Its very cold here and over the week we have had a fair amount of snow,  hope you are staying warm and safe in this cold snap

2024 TTAl - temperature tat along part 15

 Hi,

From a very snowy Somerset,  it’s very cold and it’s been minus temperatures at night for nearly a week,

At last I have finished November,  we had some very low temperatures in November,  it’s definitely been moving into colder colours as the month  of November progressed.  I have 31 more squares to do to finish the year,  to finish a line and make it more square I might have to do a few extra into January,  I will see how the 31 square pan out.

Stay safe and warm
