Stitched cards

Hi,

A few months ago,  a friend said on a Sunday she always did something different,  she is also someone who can do many different crafts,  so on Sundays she does something different to what she is doing through the week.    Yes it’s a brilliant idea,  I can honestly say I do enjoy on Sunday relaxing with something different.  So over the last few weeks I have been doing a few stitched cards,

I used some peel off stitching elements and some metallic thread,  and this is the result.  It’s ages since I did some stitching and I found it a lovely change.

Muskaan’s DAL

Recently Muskaan set a challenge to the tatting community,  the first two rounds and for us the tatting community to design a third round.

Well Muskaan knows one round is not enough for me and I finished up designing three rounds,  as per the picture above,   It’s just a simple design but it could be used as a coaster,  or added to make a larger mat, runner or whatever.  It measured  three by three inches that’s seven and a half by seven and a half cms square.   I used Lizbeth thread no 20,  in pink ice thread.

International Crochet Day

Hi,

Well I had something in my mind to show you,  but as usual the way things are it’s still in the making but I will post when it’s finished.

I’m still learning crochet,  I made these a few months ago and they sat looking at me ever since,  they were easy to make,  a chain and then three double crochet stitches in each stitch of the chain,  they curl on their own make a chain to whatever length you want,  to hang up,  thread the head bead on their chain and make a flower for its hat.  and the wool ends make into a bow,  they don’t take much wool so useful to use up odd bit of wool.    there you have it,  a worm with a head on.  If you have a better name please share,  

The picture on the bottom I have done these key ring  hangers before this was one I made again with some left over wool,  and three blue beads,  this also has a chain to hang them up and a bead head threaded on the chain.
