Knitted Coffee Mat and Chocolate Doughnuts


Hi,

Finished at last,  I have been knitting this for a few months, its a coats pattern number 1179 it measures 20 inches round and knitted in merchandised cotton.



This is my latest cakes Chocolate Doughnuts the pattern is from
20 to make Knitted cakes,   I saw a chocolate doughnut in a bakers and thought I could do that.
I sewed the seed beads on in different colours.

  1. Hi Margaret, wow, you have been busy, these are so gorgeous, those doughnuts look good enough to eat and the beautiful pattern on the mat is perfect, but no way would I let anyone sit a coffee cup on it, in case of spills...lol...

  2. Oh Margaret! Love your knitting it is beautiful, you are a woman of many talents! I have seen doilies like that but did not know they were knitted ones, and love the doughnuts with sprinkles, they are the best and very low in calories too:)

  7. Both of these are unique creations! The gorgeous doily demands a high skill of knitting with fine thread, and the donuts are simply delightful, but also require ingenuity to design, and patience in sewing in all those beads! Clever idea!

    I assume this means that your hands have mended, which is good news!
