May Pinterest Challenge

Hi,

Here is my Pinterest challenge item for May,  as you know Suzanne and I have been challenging each other to do or make something off Pinterest.
This King Elephant was originally made all grey but I prefer my pattern to the one used so I gave him blue pants and white top,
This is the back view showing his royal cape.   The crown on the top was made from Lizbeth thread no 20 in gold (I did not have any gold wool)
This is a link to Suzanne's blog she made a lovely bookmark, do pop over and have a look.
I hope you like my Elephant.

We had a great weekend and I will in a few days write a piece about the castle we went to.
                                 Hugs
                              Margaret

  8. You are brilliant at making these animals! He's wonderful and splendidly regal!
Great job on the crown, too! He's one of a kind!

I'll look forward to reading about your castle trip. I've recently been 'touring' (via Google Street View) many castles, all over the British Isles. I never realized how many there are. and I've barely scratched the surface! They are enchanting, and some are absolutely spectacular! It must be wonderful to see them in person!
