What a beautiful day we have had today, the sun is shining, the sky is blue, its not that warm yet but its a lovely day hopefully it will stay for the Bank Holiday weekend we have this weekend.
This is the card for the CD Sunday Challenge - Stepping out, I only just made it in time last week, so I put my best foot forward and got it made in plenty of time.
I cut the card in the shape of a boot, it seems ages since I made a boot, I covered the boot with a backing paper from Joanne Sheens CD Enchanted Dreams, I made the holes up the side and put some ribbon in and out for the laces. Then added a spray of flowers, with leaves, and roses in two shades of pink with a butterfly, and a die cut label and put a gold peel of greeting. I really enjoyed making this card, as I say its a long time since I did a boot, I think I must make a few more. The craft room is taking shape, its just filling all the boxes in the storage in cabinet, I knew I had a lot of craft stash and I have found a few bits that I had forgotten, Its good to have a spring clean every so often.
