CD Sunday Challenge - For the Love of Dogs

Hi,
This fortnights challenge on the CD Sunday challenge blog is my choice,  I hope you enjoy my choice which is For the Love of Dogs.

For this challenge there will be an extra prize which has been donated to the team,  this tattered lace die will be an added prize to the winner of the challenge.

For this challenge I made an easel card and I wish they were easier to photo I used Pet set by La Pashe.   This being my favorite breed of dogs and having own several of them, when I saw this image well I just had to use it.
I used the backing paper which went with the image.
I matted the image on silver embossed card, added the die walking my dog which was free from Tatted lace magazine some months ago.  I have been treating my self to this magazine while I have been going through the eye treatment, well thats how I started buying it.   I added silver peel offs in the corners, I also used the smaller image inside the card which I matted on the same silver card.   and finished off the card with two small very dark blue ribbon.
I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD no matter how small and let us know which CD you used.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.

Have a lovely weekend
Hugs
Margaret

  1. A lovely designed card Margaret - that pooch is quite cuddly looking and I'm not a dog lover! I like how you've added the die cut. I have that die and have used part of it for an ATC theme.

  4. I do love dogs! We haven't had one for probably 25 years now. Somehow, it didn't seem right to leave a pet at home alone all day while we were at work. I'm not sure I have the energy for a fur baby any more, but I do miss the companionship!
