CD Sunday Challenge - Rabbit Rabbit

Good morning from a very snowy Somerset,  we already have at least two inches and it's still snowing, it's a day to stay warm indoors.
Its time for another challenge at the CD Sunday Challenge blog,  this time its Pamela's turn and she chose Rabbit.
I feel I went back to my childhood with this card I used The tale of Peter Rabbit CD by Crafters Companion,  this was my favorite book as a child.
I had a Christmas card with this shape, I liked the shape so much I measured and worked out how to do it,  I have no idea what the shape is called but its folded from one piece of card.  The front piece is then added on.    I used a piece of the backing paper that goes with the Peter Rabbit image and then decoupaged the image added some small cardboard pieces of Peter Rabbit that came free with Crafts Beautiful some time ago, finished off with a peel off happy birthday.

CD Sunday challenge now has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD no matter how small and let us know which CD you used.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend

  1. A great fold and wonderful decoupage, love this one Margaret

  2. a lovely shape card to show off your Peter Rabbit scene, I am sure this powdery snow will soon go

  3. I don't enjoy cutting out, I'm pretty useless at it. So I really admire anyone who does decoupage. A lovely scene Margaret and those added embellishments fit right in.

  4. Lovely card. I admire all those who do these shaped cards. I am afraid I am a square with my square cards. I have though bought a couple of templates from Robert Addams so you never know.

  6. Hi Margaret,

I too loved this book as a child and also read it to my daughters when they were little. This is the image I first think of when Peter Rabbit is mentioned, and I love that you've decoupaged it. Great card shape too.

    Thanks for the lovely inspiration.
