Its amazing to think that this project has brought together so many tatters from all over the world,  who have never meet and perhaps never likely to meet them all and yet we have produce enough squares to cover a monument in the capital of Europe.
I am going over to Brussels to see it in August and will post the pictures when I came back
Until then hope you are enjoying the heatwave  .... I am not,  I cant knit its just too hot,  so my knitting has been put on hold,   I only tat for a short while my hands just get too hot so I am doing some embroidery which I will show you.  unfortunately the heat and Fibromalgia don't mix  yet when I go into Europe the dry heat does not affect me but this heat we are having in the UK is just tooo much.   My plants would love some rain and at the point of writing this today Friday for this to go live on Sunday,   we have not had any for some time although storms are forecasted so now I have written this,  it might rain.
Have a lovely weekend
                       Hugs
                    Margaret

  1. It’s an impressive project, isn’t it? Great that you plan to go and see it in person! My brother in Suffolk had rain on Friday so I hope you did too.

  2. Hi and glad you're planning a visit in Brussels, I can't. Hope they will put "a storm" of pictures for all of us that can't go there. Hope to see your tatting here too, even if a little one piece done! Have a fresh Sunday!

  3. This has been such an amazing project and so wonderful that you are part of it Margaret, I look forward to the photos in August...as for the weather I think the heat wave has done with us for now, torrential rain and this morning is same again, now I know we need it, but I do hope we get some more summer before the children go back...enjoy your day..xx

  5. I think it's a smart idea to join them tip to tip! Takes care of all the size (& some shape) differences. Thanks for sharing.
Waiting for you to give a visual tour of the event!
