Yesterday was our 18th wedding anniversary but as I had a card scheduled to go on the blog, and I don’t like doing two posts in one day, I have left it until today to post this card.
I wanted something male and not too fussy so I used a die from the Entwined collection heart by Leonie Pujol and this die is called Funky heart - hearts and swirls. I cut one out in gold and then cut another one in red and put the gold into the red part of the die, there was also swirly bits with this die which I cut in gold and red and left hanging in parts of the heart. Did I say I did not want a fussy card,
I used a embossing folder of hearts down one side in grey to bring out the red and gold, and matted it all onto a Hunkydory cream embossed card, which does not show up in the photo. The butterflies are from Apple Blossom Floral framed collection which I also cut in gold card. Finishing off with red heart gems, and red ribbon.
We had a lovely day pity the weather was not the same, it was muggy and humid compared with the beautiful sunny day we had.

Happy Anniversary, Margaret! Beautifully detailed heart creation. I’ve been reorganizing my dies... a slow process for me lol... and enjoying some cardmaking just for fun these days. This week I’ve regained a bit of energy, so I spend a 5 minute morning segment pruning our rapidly growing shrubbery. Jack has our new green house completed, and he is now building the shelves on the inside. Been reading quite a bit, and resting a lot.
