It’s raining snowflakes

 Hi,

As I write this it’s dark, raining and blowing a gale,  and is going to be like this all weekend.

I tested some snowflakes patterns for Robins (Tatting by the bay) new book Four dozen tatted snowflakes.   Well here are some more from her wonderful book,  I used Lizbeth thread in white no 20,  I am enjoying tatting the patterns and I will be doing some more.  I have put the hangers on them ready to hang up.

I hope the weather is better with you where ever you are, stay safe and well.

Margaret

  8. Hi, Margaret! I am always amazed at the talented tatting fingers who make these lovely snowflakes. My fingers have never been nimble enough, so it makes me appreciate them all the more! My great aunt used to make them. I would starch them, and then we would both use them in decorations, gifts and wreaths. Yours are beautiful! Thanks for sharing, and for reminding me of those precious years. xx
