Hi,
Today it’s the 1st May and usually I show you a picture of my Lily of the Valley, this year April has been dry, very cold at night with frosts yet when the sun does shine it gets quite warm. As soon as the sun goes the temperature drops. So unfortunately although the plants are well up there’s no flowers as yet.
So here is a picture of my Bluebells, these are not only the usually blue but I also have white and pink ones. The picture below is another group of pink Bluebells that have seed themselves across the path.
This weekend is a bank holiday in the U.K. but although we have had beautiful dry weather here in somerset for weeks and the garden is very dry, this weekend the weather is changing and it’s going to be wet.
I hope you have a lovely weekend and can at least keep dry and warm.
Margaret
Sounds as though the garden will welcome rain. Then perhaps the lily of the valley will flower. The blue bells are pretty too.
