Dorset Buttons

 Hi,

Well I made three buttons last week on holiday,  they may not be perfect, but I am pleased with them,  I used white merchandise cotton and the pink is Oren Bayan no 8 which is the same thickness as the white, Oren Bayan is a Turkish thread,  very smooth and I use a thinner one for tatting. This pink is a varigated thread.

I used Crafting  Thread Jewellery but Pat Olski,  it’s a lovely book so glad I brought it sometime ago.and I would recommend it. I am planning to make more

  6. They're nice Margaret! I tried a Dorset button once and told myself I'd try different designs eventually... but I haven't gotten around to it yet! :-)
