2024 TTAL - temperature tatting along part 13

 Hi,

It’s a beautiful day now here in Somerset,   I know I have not posted very much over recent weeks,  and I would like to thank Janette for her lovely comment on my last post.  Yes we are both ok,  well ok’ish to be more correct.

As you know Vernon had an accident in June,  it’s been a long time but we have now found out the damage to his shoulder in the last couple of weeks,  he’s now going or will be having physio on the shoulder,  no idea when that will start,  if it takes as long as it was to find out what he did when he fell,  he might start physio next year.

As his shoulder gets better he has finally had some skin cancer cut out,  it’s taken 11 months since he saw them in clinic to finally get treatment,  now I am a nurse looking after and dressing the stitches every few days.  Hopefully this won’t bring the stress illness back,

September brought on some sort of illness,  and we now realise that it was stress related,  I was totally worn out,  looking after someone full time,  is no laughing matter when you are disabled and have fibromyalgia,  we went away for a week at the end of September,  total rest,  it was doing us good until I got a nasty cold,  that affected my eyes,  it was a really nasty head cold,  although I still have a cough,  yes I am on the mend.

This week I am full on as I have two craft fairs two weekends following each other,  I had some plans for some new things most of which did not happen,

The picture above is my temperature tat along,  I finished September yesterday,  only three more months,  it now measures 18 by 17 inches,  there’s some ends to sew in and a few beads to sew in for land mark items during the year,  we never did get a really hot day,  so the red colour was never used.   The temperatures are slowly going down as reflected in the colours.  Although it’s quite mild for the time of year.

Well there’s an update in what’s been happening over the last few months.  I have a few bits to post and I will post over the next few weeks.

Hope you are keeping well,

Margaret
