Christmas decorations with snowflake and bird,

 Hi,

Today it’s foggy damp and horrible as I write this schedule post,   We had a quite Christmas,  unfortunately Vernon was not able to get the ladder down to get into the loft his shoulder is not strong enough to reach up on bring the ladder down so no Christmas decorations,  I had this heart shape wreath so I made a door wreath out of it,  I had some Christmas ribbon to made a bow,  my tatted Christmas bells  I kept separate from the door wreath in the roof,  so I put them in the middle,  I made a white flower  and some green leaves from pipe cleaners something I have started making and to show you.  I filled them in with some red feather.  A door wreath with a difference.

Over Christmas I finished a snowflake called Alba by Joelle Paulson,  lovely pattern thank you Joelle for designing this snowflake,  I used Lizbeth thread no 20 in white.

I also made a bird from a pattern designed by Namiart I love this bird pattern I intend to make more but I am going to add I piece of thread so they can hang up from a tree.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas

CD Sunday challenge- anything goes #148

 Hi,

This is our last challenge for this year,  and I am the host for this fortnight,   The challenge will close on the 22nd December and the winners will be announced next year.

For my card for this fortnight,  I have used a free download from Debbi Moore magazine no 58,  the Christmas tree I spent ages on,  placing  red, green and white gem stones in with silver stars all dotted around the tree.  The art deco lady should have been standing in front of the tree but having spent so long  on decorating the tree I have placed her to one side,  I added a hand made bow and some gold glitter on her dress.  I am not going to say who is getting this card just in case they read this.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page the challenge and do not have a blog,

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from,   and that it is a card or a project.    Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.

All is left for me to say is I wish you a very Happy Christmas and  Very Happy New Year,  CD Sunday will be back on  the 5th January 2025

Enjoy your weekend,

2024 TTAL - Temperature tat along on Facebook part 14

 Hi

At last I finished October,  I am still in facebook jail and I cannot comment on any comments left but at least I can post you a picture.

This picture also shows the first three days of November,  it was too dark yesterday to take a photo.  Please excuse some ends I just want to get as many done as I can to catch up a bit.

In case you don’t know I am working in a square clockwise,  and these are temperatures in Somerset. U.K.

I must tell you this little story,  I run out of orange on the shuttle,  could I find the ball no ,  we looked everywhere it should be,  I could go no further in despair and my usual supplier closed for a few days,  I managed to find someone who had the same colour,  yes it was quick she posted the thread the same day, Tuesday first class post,  nothing arrived by Friday afternoon so at 4oclock I emailed her to say it had not arrived,  at 5.45pm our post was delivered,  and with it the thread, so I had to email her back thinking her and disregard my email,  Saturday my hubby was doing the hovering,  he moved the coffee table,  it’s a bit table with low legs and you can’t see under it unless you get down on your hand and knees,  what did he find a ball of orange thread, he was not best pleased as I brought two balls and now I have three,  I told him I will use it up,  orange bookmarks, earring etc.,   Now the weather is getting colder I am now into yellows and greens.
