Christmas decorations with snowflake and bird,

 Hi,

Today it’s foggy damp and horrible as I write this schedule post,   We had a quite Christmas,  unfortunately Vernon was not able to get the ladder down to get into the loft his shoulder is not strong enough to reach up on bring the ladder down so no Christmas decorations,  I had this heart shape wreath so I made a door wreath out of it,  I had some Christmas ribbon to made a bow,  my tatted Christmas bells  I kept separate from the door wreath in the roof,  so I put them in the middle,  I made a white flower  and some green leaves from pipe cleaners something I have started making and to show you.  I filled them in with some red feather.  A door wreath with a difference.

Over Christmas I finished a snowflake called Alba by Joelle Paulson,  lovely pattern thank you Joelle for designing this snowflake,  I used Lizbeth thread no 20 in white.

I also made a bird from a pattern designed by Namiart I love this bird pattern I intend to make more but I am going to add I piece of thread so they can hang up from a tree.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas

Margaret

  3. I am sorry you couldn't get your decorations out Margaret, how sad for you both, but I love the one you made, very pretty and of course your gorgeous snowflake and bird.
We have had this awful thick mist for days now, its as bad as when we used to get the pea soupers, way back when.
Have a nice new year and better health. xx
