My Goal - Finished

Hi,
My goal is finished,   I passed the point which my goal was supposed to be finished for the course at the Mineral Hospital in Bath,  and I went on and I can now say its finished.
Here it is 14 inches in diameter in Cranberry Bush and light leaf green Lizbeth thread no 20,  The pattern Land of Laces Heart Doily,
I do like this design and will do the mat again one day but my only thing is there is a little ring between the hearts that you do when joining the hearts to mat which just wont lay down and will need a bit more blocking,  if I do the mat I wont be doing the little ring.
My next appoint at the Mineral hospital is the 16th May so I can say I did achieve my goal and more.
Have a nice day

My goal so far

Hi,

This is post one or two posts for today,  yes I know Auntie Sue said this earlier on her blog you wait ages for one to come along and you get two,  sorry Sue I used your words but its true,
As you know I am doing a mat for the Fibromalgia course I am on,  well I finished the three month goal and have continued with the final row,   And this is how far I have got,  half way with the hearts and then there is a row to join them to the doily.   Its a long way round but its coming slowly.
I am using the cranberry bush for the hearts,

My goal is finished re Land of Laces Heart Doily

close up
Hi,
Yes I have finished to the point where my three month goal is set for my Fibromalgia course,  there is still the otter round to go which I will start after I have done a couple of little bits over the weekend.
Yes I am pleased not only reaching my goal within the time and how pretty the mat is coming along.
The last two rounds have been easy but I have no doubt the last round is not going to so easy.
I am using no 20 lizbeth thread, Cranberry Bush and light leaf green,  and the pattern is Heart Doily by Land of Laces.
Above is a close up,  I have not pressed it or sewn in the ends,   the light today is not good so they can wait until I get better light.
If you don't know the story of the Doily here are the links to previous posts January,   January,  March and  the last post
Hope you are having a good day

My Goal for three months cont.......

Hi,

As you can see another row on the Land of laces doily,   I put it on a different background the colours have come out better,   this round has two rows to the pattern this is the first part,  I have not blocked it as I am now well on the way the second part,
The thread is Cranberry bush rings with light leaf green chains no 20 lizbeth thread,   It looks like I might be able to start the row of hearts before I go back to the Mineral hospital,  which will be great as my goal will have accomplished.
Have a nice weekend  its the start of the F1 season,  I am looking forward to seeing how well Button does this year,  for those who don't know he is our local boy.

My Goal for three months cont....

Hi,

What a lovely day we have here in Somerset the fog is clearing and the sun has its hat on,  hope its the same with you.
Do you remember this post,  that I am doing a Fibromalgia course at The Mineral Hospital in Bath,  we were set a goal to do for the next three months,   I chose to continue with the Land Of Laces Doily which I had started,   well the next round is done in Cranberry bush,
My goal is to get to the final row which is the hearts,  I have started the next row with the light leaf green chains and Cranberry rings which I will if it looks OK do the next row the same.  Both  look like they will be quick so I might get to the row of hearts by the time we go back to the Mineral Hospital.
Hope you are having a nice weekend.

My goal for three months

Hi,

Do you remember this post      that at present I am doing a Fibromalgia course at the Mineral Hospital in Bath,  the first week we were set a goal for the week,  well I set myself tatting the middle of the Land of Laces Heart doily,  I am using Lizbeth Cranberry Bush No 20.  I completed the middle in the week set for the goal.
Well now they have set a goal for three months,   and as you can see by the picture I have done the next row in Light Leaf Green no 683 in no 20 lizbeth thread.   My goal is to get the final row of the doily by the time we go back to the hospital for a review of our progress.
I have started the next row and I am back using Cranberry Bush .
I am hoping to get to the final row and hopefully get a few hearts done.  I am preparing a post about the Mineral Hospital and its history.
Until we meet again take care

Land of Laces Heart Doily

 Hi,
At present I am doing a Fibromalgia course at the Mineral Hospital in Bath,  the first week we were set a goal for the week,  well I set myself tatting the middle of the Land of Laces Heart doily,  I am using Lizbeth Cranberry Bush No 20  I should have posted this last week,  link to post about the start of this doily.   Well with one thing and another and having a day out with family this got forgotten,  I did manage to do the middle in the week and have started the next round only I am trying to finish something else for the end of the month and time if flying faster than me.
I expect you remember my flowering foxglove well he's still flowering but he's looking a bit sorry for himself after a severe frost,  this was taken the day before the frost.   I can't believe this flower is still going,  the frost hit my hardy fuchsias and they were hit hard but no he survived.  link to the post about the foxglove.
Hope you are keeping well and until we meet again take care
                    Hugs

My goal for the week

Hi,

Time is flying and here we are already in the second week of January,  my apologises to anyone I have not left a comment to,  I don't know where the time goes and I try to keep a pace with the blogs but it seems to be getting harder.
The weather is turning colder and although we have not had any snow, we had our first real frost last night,  you could say winter is here at last,  and the latest on the foxglove he is still flowering, so when I have finished this I will go and get a picture of him.
At the moment I am on a course at the Mineral Hospital in Bath for my fibromalgia,  and they set everyone with a Goal for the week, well after sitting there for what seemed ages I finally decided to tat the doily I had been planning to do, (now what else would a tatter do) so I need to tat the middle of the doily by Monday.    Well I am off to a start not sure if I can get the middle done, but one can only try.  This pattern is by Land of Laces, heart doily and I am using Lizbeth Cranberry Bush thread no 20.
The Mineral Hospital in Bath is a very interesting building and I am hoping to write a piece about it, I know there are several ladies who like reading about history.
Until we meet again,  take care and keep warm
                     Hugs
