CD Sunday Challenge - four legs and a tail

Hi,
I did not think I would make this challenge but here is my card, I hope you like it,  the colours have come out a but wishy washy but I think its still OK as the photo goes.
The image is from Furry friends squeeze cards CD by Digi Crafts,  I did not use it as a squeeze card,  I used the image and them decoupaged it onto the card.  The backing paper is from a CD but I cant remember which one,  i have been re-organising myself into a new craft room and I found this piece,  it went well with the image and I think it might be from La Pash.
I kept the card simple adding a ribbon down the side and corner peel off s and two purple heart gems.
Its a lovely day here and they are arriving for the Glastonbury, hope they remember some sun tan lotion,  the sun is hot today.   We saw a lot on Tuesday  arriving  when I went to the dentist in Castle Cary those who arrive early had to camp outside the gates until the site opened on Wednesday morning.    It will of course rain and rain is forecasted for friday and Sunday,  It would not be Glastonbury without some rain.  The site is already the size of Bath,   having lived nearer to the festival I know the roads will be busy for miles around.  Once they get inside most stay inside,  there's always some problem or other on the site they have own mini hospital and police station, fire station, with buses bring them from Castle Cary station to the site and then taking them back to the station when its finished,  the days of walking and hitch-hiking have long gone. Lets hope this year goes off better without the usual  births and deaths,  this might be rural Somerset but its amazing what goes on at the festival and its not all music. After the festival it will take six weeks for the site to go back to being a farm.
Hope you are having a nice day,  and the sun is shining where ever you are in the world.

The CD Sunday Challenge - Faithful Friends

 Hi,
On this gorgeous sunny day, yes summer is here, how long for is anyone's guess but the last few days have been gorgeous, long may it last.
Today's card is for the CD Sunday Challenge Faithful friends, well it had to be a dog, (Sorry Gian  but for this card it just had to be a dog and those who don't know that's Fox's cat from Tatology) but as a dog person well it could not be anything else could it?
I used for the backing paper My Craft Studio essential backgrounds again and for the image I used Furry Friends Squeeze cards, and the image is called Proud Father.   I did a step card for a change and there is a side view at the bottom.
I used a die cut piece of Fence which I have for some time and I am sure Suzanne did for me when I need it for a christmas card.   I used pansy flowers which I have had for ages and added a couple of bones for the proud father and puppy.   Then added the words in front in gold peel off's and finished the rest off in gold peels.  The ribbon is a new ribbon which I found a few weeks ago and matches the backing paper perfectly.

I hope where ever you are you are enjoying this lovely weather, Until we meet again take care.

The Sunday CD Challenge - Spring has Sprung

Hi,

I am very late with this card, but I have had a very very bad cold over the last couple of weeks. I had a phone call from Sheila my sister in law who asked why I had not put anything on my blog for over a week, well sheila I hope you enjoy this card and will you come back again on Sunday for the tatting piece which I am putting together for International Tatting Day.

We have had some beautiful weather in Somerset this last week, the sun has had his hat on and its been lovely to wake up to sunshine and some warmth at last.

I struggled in Cheese and Grain last weekend, and as the morning went on I found I had conjunctivitis in my left eye and then woke up the next morning with it in both eyes, apart from the market being quite I did reasonably well. I am this week doing a craft fair in Midsommer Norton for Children with Diabetics, I hope we have a good morning.

Now to my card for this week, Spring has Sprung, I used the Furry Friends CD, from the Squeeze Cards group of Cd's. The picture is called A Quick Chat, instead of the card being on its own, I have put it on a blank peach card, added some yellow ribbon from stock, I think it might have come from a free pack from a magazine. I knitted two small daffodils and placed them on the card in each corner. We have two birthdays over the next week so it will be used for one of them.

I hope you have a lovely weekend, and enjoy what is left of the gorgeous weather we have been having before the cold returns next week.

Until we meet again Take care

Hugs

Margaret
