I hope the weather is better where you are, today has been wet with showers and a little sunshine. They say the weather will improved at the weekend, which will be nice as I am doing a craft fair on Saturday at the Cheese and Grain in Frome.
Today Frome has been busy as the Frome Treasure Trove has been on display in the Library, it was dug up by a metal detecterist in a field near Frome. There are several rumours as to what the value of the hoard will be anything up to a million pounds, Good luck to the finder and I hope he does well w
hen the amount will be announced later in the year.
Now back today's piece, this card was commissioned for a taxi driver in Frome who is walking around Wales starting on the 1st August raising money for a cancer charity. He will be camping as he goes. Good Luck to him and I hope he does well collecting as he goes.
This is a flower piece that was also commissioned for someone who wanted a piece to sew on a plain blouse. It was knitted with no 2o cotton on number 13 needles, and silver beads in the centre. This is her second one, the first was the same as this one was white but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it.
