I was asked to make a valentines card, my request was two angels and two hearts. Well I made this one (actually I made this one first before Vernon's and liked the design so much I based his on it)
It has red rose glittery backing paper, two hearts red on silver, two tatted angels which I put hanging from the ribbon, and use silver peel off's to finish the card off.
I have not had any fed back so hope the card was what he wanted to send.

ReplyDeleteI always decorate the envelopes for cards, but don't make the cards themselves. I usually take photos so I don't repeat my designs. I use all kinds of free fonts from the computer and also use the peel-offs.
However I also embellish the purchased card with the peel-offs or stickers and glitter glue. I always think of you when I do this!
Coming back to explain that I take the photos of the envelopes/cards so I don't repeat the design the next year for birthdays or anniversaries to the same person, and also so I don't buy the same card! My niece's birthday is on Valentine's Day, and they only make so many cards that say "happy birthday on Valentine's Day". I had to buy a regular birthday card this year, but it was very unusual as it was a 'banner' of three hearts with a cord and tassels!
