Cymbidium Orchid Earrings 23/25 motif challenge

Hi,

What a beautiful weekend,   and for a bank holiday weekend,   hope you are all enjoying it.

I was not too good when I got back from Sheffield on Friday,   they took out the loose stitch in my eye and then decided to take the other stitch as well, three lots of anaesthetic the stitch finally was out.  I ended up with a very sore and bruised eye,  its feeling a bit better today so I thought I would post these earrings.  the next appointment is in four months time,  so another trip up north.

I made them for Cuthbert who has been over here from Tanzania visiting Becky Vernon's niece he is a lovely man and we are looking forward to seeing him again when he can sort out his visa.   These earrings are for his sisters.

They are made from my 3d Cymbidium Orchid pattern and from the top left I used Lizbeth thread no 20, its Girly girl, Christmas Green mix (sorry the camera did not get the greens very well)  Pineapple Parfait,  and Vineyard Harvest.   I put a pearl in the middle but the yellow did not go well with a pearl so I used a brown bead which worked well.  The pattern is in my Esty shop which I will re-open later this week.

I sold a pattern early last week and now I have been asked about making it into a pendant which I am working on,  the brain cells have had a hard time recently but I think I might have something for her. When I get it right and it looks OK I will release the pattern.

Until we meet again take care and enjoy this beautiful weather.

                              Hugs
                          Margaret

  7. Do I understand that your hand is better? I am so impressed that with all your health issues you are tatting and blogging! These earrings are so pretty! I hope that at least your weather is improving. It's been cool here for Spring, but I don't want it to get hot too soon! Thanks for your recent comments about our anniversary. I still can't quite grasp the passing of the years!
