Hi,
Meet the flower ladies, these are made with pegs and they do stand up which is a miracle after I played with the silk flowers.
I cant give you a link to this from Pinterest as the link is no longer there but you will find them on my pinterest board.
I used different silk flowers to make their dresses, some were easy others worked up not quite so good. I used some other bits to decorate them.
So lets go down the pictures
Here is Miss Pink Carnation
Here is Miss Blue Poppy with her punk hair style and tatted flowers with beads
And last Miss Sunflower
This is Miss Rose with her pink petals and spray of white baby flowers
And Lastly Miss spray carnation with her mini skirt and flower hat
I have no idea what the other Pin chicks have done but please pop over and see their creations. here is the links to their blogs.

Wow, Margaret, your flower ladies are gorgeous! Well done. They make me think of little flower ladies I had as a child, each housed in a 'perfume bottle', with the scent of the relevant flower.
ReplyDeleteWow I wouldn't have guess these little close-pin beauties, You always see them as christmas ornaments but I love this idea! They are a little collection of garden flowers, have great day!
ReplyDeleteWOW... they are all just so adorable darl.... fantatsic work :) xXx

ReplyDeleteMargaret I love these. I got some silk flower petals recently and have been looking for new ideas to use them. You have inspired me. Can I have the link to your Pinterest page please. Hugs Wynn xx
ReplyDeleteYou have had fun Margaret. My Mother used to make peg dolls for a perfume shop in her town. They were done in the colours used for the perfume packaging. Very fiddly to do.
