Hi,
Finally a spinning wheel, I really enjoyed this pattern by Mary Knoior, I have had the book called the Pattern book of tatting since it was published but this is the first time I have made this pattern. It seemed to take ages simply because I was doing other things at the same time. I used Juicy Watermelon Lizbeth thread no 20.
I don't think I will be doing a Diane and making one a week for a while, but I will make some more.
Hope you are keeping cool, its a bit warm and heavy today.
Hugs
Margaret

Nagyon szép minta, a kész darab is mutatós..Azt hinné az ember első látásra hogy nehéz...Én is egyszer már elkészítettem, nagyon élvezetes volt csipkézni...szép napot kedves Margarat...
ReplyDeleteLovely! I think I've actually made one in Juicy Watermelon, just not this year! ;-)

Love the watermelon color and your spinning wheel this is a great sell the color. I have that book too and long ago I tried to make it and could not, and gave up, I love the book it is great education too!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Diane has been at these long enough that several of us have finally succumbed to tatting one up. Isn't it great the way one tatter can inspire the rest of us to pull out a pattern we've had on hand for ages?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!!!!! :)
