CD Sunday Challenge - Up up & Away

Hi,
Time for another challenge from the CD Sunday Challenge blog,  this time it was Carol who choose Up Up and Away.
I did like making this card for the background I use the CD Klever Konstruction - on the shelf once in a lifetime volume one,   by the time I put the image on I lost a bit of the clouds but they are there sky with clouds.
The image I stitched in various colours,  I got the image from Pinterest,  which I used a fancy pair of scissors to cut around and matted on a miri card.  I finished off the card with peel offs lines around,  its ages since I did any stitching I really enjoyed it,  I think I must do some more stitching.
A simple CAS card for a change.
CD Sunday challenge now has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD no matter how small and let us know which CD you used.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend

                                       Hugs
                                   Margaret

  6. I love the colour of the threads you've used Margaret, especially the multi-coloured one. I've 'dabbled' with stitching on cards, I like the effect it gives.

  12. I love card embroidery Margaret, both the therapeutic effect of stitching it, and the visual effect when it's finished, and you've used it to great effect on this lovely card.

Thank you very much for my fabulous prize from the last challenge.
