Hi,
This is my rejected card, I made it and then rejected it, it was originally for the CD Sunday challenge Winter in the Mountains, but I felt it was not good enough so I did another card which you saw a couple of weeks ago.
For this card I used American Frontier CD by Joanna Sheen, for the background and image I die cut the trees and then layered them on the side.,
We all have cards we make and are not happy with for the purpose but its now going to be a christmas card, I wont be discarding it perhaps I was being hard on myself with not liking it.
If you have missed any comments on your blog recently I am sorry I have not been too good with the fibromalgia and pain in my shoulder blade, I hope to catch up soon.
Have a good day,
Hugs
Margaret
WOW If I made a card like this I'd be delighted. Nothing wrong with it Margaret :-)

Yes, good thing you posted this reject cause I like it too. I guess we are are own worst critics they say. That reminds me, Years ago if I would slightly burn cookies I would toss them out, a neighbor who came over saw me doing that and gave me specific instructions never to do tgat again and to tell her any time i did that and she would come and ghost at them. This makes me think of that for some reason😄❤😄
ReplyDeleteI live near the mountains in Alberta, Canada. I love the picture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image Margaret, can't think why we are all so hard on ourselves, it's a lovely card...
ReplyDeleteThankyou for your lovely birthday card, nice to be remembered..xx
Your card is fabulous Margaret, a wonderful scene and super die cut trees, we are our own worst critics aren't we!
