Hi,
I really should call this holiday tatting but not all of it was tatted while I was on holiday. Above is a bookmark which I started on holiday, the pattern was on facebook as a bracelet but I did not want to play with beads on holiday so I changed into a bookmark, The pattern is by Augusta Greco she called it with all my heart which looks like its originally by Gloria Nelson, at least thats what I think it says as its in another language. To me it looks like butterfly hearts at the top I added a chain and two rings which make it look like a butterfly and finished the bookmark off with a tassel.
The tatted heart is called Tatted heart and was adapted by Barbara Foster from a design by Mrs. J.M. Blackman appearing in Modern Priscilla magazine 1917. I just had a littler thread left on the shuttle and made a butterfly.
I used Lizbeth thread called Tropical Punch no 20
These are Ice drops the which one was sent to me by Linda Williams along with the red thread and beads to make another one.
Well I think I did a fairly good job of it, my hand was not quite repaired and I had only just started tatting again. I am going to do this pattern again as it, as they look beautiful hanging up. The Ice drop is called Birthday Ice drop. Thank you Linda for the thread and beads.
This is Tiara Ice Drop by Wally Sosa which I made using Lizbeth thread Purple Marble no 20.
Well thats the tatting for now,
Margaret
