Test attting for Wally

Hi,

Wally Saso has a new book out called A Party of Tatting Designs.  I have been doing some test tatting for you,  there are some lovely motif patterns.
Here is the link to buy the book either digitally or as a book.

These are the motifs I did for Wally with shuttle tatting.

Motif 2012,  I used Lizbeth thread Rainbow Taffy no 20

Motif 2007. I used Lizbeth thread Juicy Watermelon no 20. This motif is one that if you want to practice josephine rings and split rings,  this will certainly give you a lot of practice.

Motif 2016. I used Lizbeth Thread Juicy Watermelon no 20

Motif 2003 I used Lizbeth thread Rainbow Taffy no 20,   The third round is tricky and not a beginners  motif,  with the three little rings at the end of a split chain.

Bonbon without the wrapper. I used Lizbeth thread Christmas thread no 20

This is an interesting book of different motifs,  that can be tatted either by shuttle or needle.
I did enjoy test tatting for Wally,  unfortunately these were done before I injured my hand and its the first opportunity to post them,  Thank you Wally for giving me the test tatting.

  2. Good job !!! I love the first meandering one. I've tatted her 2016 Birthday motif, experimenting with hues of maroon. The last one would look pretty as jewellery.
