Host of Angels, and Two in one Heart

Hi,

Another very wet and windy weekend,  just getting fed up now with the wind and the continuous rain,  with many parts of the UK flooded,  hope spring is coming and the weather improves.
These are my host of Angels the pattern is called Angel in an hour by Donata Jones,  They are tatted in Lizbeth no 20 Peach,  ice pink (which is not showing up very well)  and christmas thread.  I really enjoyed this pattern and I am sure there will be more.

This heart is in Lizbeth no 20 Peach and is called Two-in-one heart by Tat-a-Renda.
Lovely pattern and very easy to tat,  its another pattern you will be seeing more of in the future.

I have not been doing much tatting recently,  I have a very long list to do so I really should start to reduce the list before any more new patterns arrive.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend

Art Deco Birthday card

Hi
I made this Art Deco birthday card for my sister in law Dee whose birthday is today,
I used Debbi Moore's CD Art Deco Romance,   I used both the backing sheet and the image from the CD and matted the image onto gold bushed miri card by Hunkydory,  used peel offs around the edges and finished off the card with pearls in the corners of the image plus some glitter on her dress.
I hope she likes her card.
After two weekends of storms and gale force winds and gallons of rain, hopefully this weekend will be a little calmer.,

CD Sunday plus Challenge # 29 Anything goes

Hi,
Time for another challenge at the CD Sunday plus Challenge blog,  as always it is Anything goes as long as something is used  from a CD, USB or Digital material.  This fortnight this challenge is being hosted Jocelyn.
For my card I  used Art Decadence CD by Debbi Moore,  its a beautiful CD and this is in my mind one of the lovely images on the CD.  I matted the image onto gold bushed Hunkydory card,  its getting to be one of my favorite miri card,  I used two different backing papers off the CD and added a printed ribbon strip and sentiment that came with the image.  Finished the card off with small pearls,  which I brought in Poundland.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend

Hidden Rose Snowflake

Hi,

Just a little bit of tatting to show you today,   the light is so bad and the weather is rough to say the least  with storm Cara with us,  that I was unable to take decent photos of the rest,  so its just this little bit today.
This is Mushaan's pattern Hidden Rose Snowflake which I have tatted in Lizbeth thread no 20 in Christmas thread and Ice blue.  Its a lovely pattern and you will be seeing more of them,
Here is a link to her blog to see more of her lovely patterns
Stay safe and dry,  hope you enjoy your weekend

CD Sunday plus Challenge - # 28 Anything goes

Hi,
Gosh here we are just into February,  looks like this year will be going as fast as last year.   Time for another challenge at the CD Sunday plus,  and as usual its anything goes as long as its from a CD, USB, or Digital material.  This fortnight I am hosting the challenge.
For my card and my first christmas card for the year I used a download from Debbi Moore website.   This kit is a free download to anyone who is a member of her website,  and it is worth joining her web site for the offers and free downloads she gives during the year.
I did mat the image onto Hunkydory silver bushed miri card and finished the card off with some silver peel offs.
