1st May 2021

Hi,
Today it’s the 1st May and usually I show you a picture of my Lily of the Valley,  this year April has been dry,  very cold at night with frosts yet when the sun does shine it gets quite warm. As soon as the sun goes the temperature drops.  So unfortunately although the plants are well up there’s no flowers as yet.
So here is a picture of my Bluebells,  these are not only the usually blue but I also have white and pink ones.  The picture below is another group of pink Bluebells that have seed themselves across the path.
This weekend is a bank holiday in the U.K. but although we have had beautiful dry weather here in somerset for weeks and the garden is very dry,  this weekend the weather is changing and it’s going to be wet.
I hope you have a lovely weekend and can at least keep dry and warm.

Happy Birthday Carol

 Hi,

Today is Carols birthday,  she is our Admin lady on the CD Sunday challenge blog,   this is the card I sent her for her birthday.  I hope she liked it.

For her card,  I used a backing sheet from Click print and go CD My Craft studio,  my die cut is a X cut die but it had no name on it so I cant tell you which one it is,  I cut it out on white card,  its the first time I have used it,  and I was pleased how well it cut.   I used a sheet of rainbow card and gold miri bushed gold both from Hunkydory,  along with a few diamond sparkles which is also from Hunkydory,  I finished the card off with gold peel offs.

CD Sunday Challenge - Anything goes # 58

 Hi,

Time for another challenge at the CD Sunday challenge blog,  Here we are in  April already,   hopefully tomorrow we will find out what might start opening,  I am longing for my hair to be done.  This challenge is bring hosted by me.

For my card I wanted something different,   I found a free image of a  Golden Eagle image on Google,  the backing paper came from the American Frontier CD by Joanna Sheen,  and the glitter trees I die cut from the festive collection - winter trees by Creative Expressions.  I matted the image on silver glitter card and decoupaged the image.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

Happy Easter

Hi,
Happy Easter, to everyone reading my blog today.
This is a card I made for my sister in law,  I used a download from tattered lace magazine no 58 for the image and background.,  I cut two die  shapes, one in green and a smaller one in white.and placed then at
at an angle.   I finished off the card with a bow and gold peel off.

This is my forsythia bush which is flowering at the moment in my garden,  it’s the best the shrub has ever been and is a littler earlier this year than last year.  My Lily of the valley are just showing under the bush.

I hope you had a lovely Easter.
