C.D Sunday challenge- anything goes #136

Hi,

Nearly the end of June,  this year is going fast,  it’s time for another challenge at the CD Sunday challenge blog,  this fortnight I am hosting it.

For my card I used Janet Kruskamp  collection  CD by Joanna Sheen,  I have nit used this fir some time so it’s nice to revisit some old CDs. I used the backing paper that went with the images,  I decoupaged the sign at the top of shop, matted the image onto green card,  plus the two small images which were on the same sheet, and  added a handmade green bow.  This was a little bit more of a simpler card,

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from,   and that it is a card or a project.    Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.

I hope you have a lovely weekend

Endrucks Project - Life is Bliss Butterfly

 Hi,

At last I manage to make another butterfly,  this is a 3D butterfly of Life is Bliss butterfly,

Originally I put a bead in the middle of the onion ring,  somewhere the bead did ,not like the middle,  it might have been too big,  this time I tried again the photo is not easy to take, so I hope you can see it is 3D I put two butterflies together next time I am going to try some beads

I should say watch this space.

CD Sunday challenge - anything goes #135

 Hi,

Here we are almost the middle of the year,  wow how it has gone fast, and time for another challenge at CD Sunday,  this fortnight it’s Jo to host.

For my card this fortnight took me out of my comfort zone, and although it’s ok,  I did struggle as it’s a subject that is not me,  I wanted something different and a bit of a challenge in itself,  you see this Far Eastern card is supposed to be Japan,  I was watching F1 race in Japan and it gave me an idea to make a card.  Why I have no idea,  Japan has always been a country I have no wish to visit as my mother was a Japanese POW,  I grew up with nothing being allowed in the house made in Japan,  I remember one Christmas as I opened a present she saw made in Japan,  the present was taken from my hand and thrown in the bin.

Anyway I decrees,  I used. Joanna Sheens CD Eastern Treasures for the image and backing paper,  the storks I decoupaged,  matted the image onto green shinny card from stash,  The tree die and flowers were from die Tree for all seasons which was a free gift years ago from a craft magazine no longer in publication.  I sewed beads into the center of the flowers to represent cherry blossoms,  and added a red peel off of a Japanese building.

I hope you like my effort with this card,  the next challenge card will be better.
