This is my last card for CD Sunday challenge, I am leaving the group as from the 31st December, really us due to ill health, I have been struggling for some time trying to keep up with making cards to a schedule, not all ways easy. I will continue to make cards but I can take my time and do other challenges if I see any I fancy, I have several other things I want and need to do which I have put to one side for a long time. Don’t worry I am not giving up my blog but you may not see me as much. This on top of my hubby having his cataract operations. which he has just has his second op, he can’t bend, lift, carry, hoover, and timed drops. No it’s not easy, but hopefully next year things might improve.
Please see update at the bottom of the page
This challenge is the last one this year for CD Sunday Challenge and the host this fortnight is Jocelyn
My card is download from Opulence by design the image is called Anna, and the backing paper and flowers are from the Frosty Flower Kit. When I printed out the kit, I put the parchment paper in the printer but it decided to put the backing paper first, then the flowers on ordinary paper. So I ended up printing the flowers again on parchment paper, fussy cutting and then embossing them. The parchment backing paper I used as the backing for the card, not going to waste it, I matted the image and the sentiment on the glitter card, cutting out the foliage also in the same card, cut out the snowflake border and snowflakes on white card, adding a handmade bow and ribbon in the spray from stash, phew that sounds a lot when you write it all down.

Update
This is from CD Sunday challenge page today, I wish to thank the team for this lovely piece on their blog today.
This is our last challenge for the year and it’s also Margaret’s last challenge as she’s stepping down from the team. Margaret and I joined the team at the same time – way back in May 2016. I don’t recall Margaret ever missing a challenge which is some achievement over nine and a half years! Margaret's contribution to the challenge will be missed by the whole team.

Beautiful card Margaret, that image is really gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your time away from the challenge, I found it best for myself when I did, it gives you time to enjoy crafting more which is the point I think. xx
A gorgeous topper and papers in icy blues
