CD Sunday Challenge - Anything Goes

Hi,
Its time for another challenge at CD Sunday Challenge Blog,  this time its Wynn's choice and its Anything goes,  anything goes as long as its from a CD or using an element from a CD.
For my card I have tried to do something different,  I used the embossing folder window frame as the backing for the card,  and put in the window an image from the Pamela West CD by Joanna Sheen,   I placed a piece of acetate for the glass.   I used a die called Hickey Dicky dock grandfather clock with the mouse going up the clock,  yes he is there.  I put a vase with flower soft which I mixed several colours together and added very small silver gems in and on the vase.  I also put the same very small gems on the clock face.  Finished off the card with a bow.

CD Sunday challenge now has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD no matter how small and let us know which CD you used.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend

CD Sunday Challenge, - Recycling with Carol

 Hi,
Today has been the most gorgeous day,  sun is shining and there's just a little high cloud,   its warm but not too hot.    My washing dried,  I am having the bedroom painted, so I washed the curtains they are now ironed waiting to go up and the bedding is also dry and can go on the bed when the room is finished.   hopefully Saturday,   when he's finished.
Today I bring you my card for the CD Sunday Challenge  this time is Recycling with Carol,   first my recycled items are from an old birthday card I have kept for sometime,   its the bird table, the butterflies, and the little birdy at the bottom of the image all from the one card.   I used an image matted onto silver card and the backing paper from Joanna Sheens CD  Pamela West.    I made the card into a step card out of green card and added the bird table and then at the back the trellis, flourish and ivy and rose buds with a handmade bow,   and put another flourish along the bottom with a small spray of an ivy leaf and rose bud with a handmade bow.
Unfortunately the camera has not taken a brilliant photo today,  he needs recharging and although the sun is shining it did not take a good picture my apologises.
I hope you like my card and I look forward to seeing you again in blog land soon.

The Sunday CD challenge - Buttons

Hi,
Its a beautiful morning here in Somerset, the sun is shining and its quite warm, I hope its the same where ever you are. This for me seemed a hard challenge , I don't like buttons on cards, but that's me and then I lost my mojo, so this is not the best card in the world. I used an image from The Pamela West Collection from Joanna Sheen. I do like her Cd's and this is an image I have not used before.
I put the image on an oil water pink sheen card, which reflects the colours from the image, rainbow ribbon from Spiral. The pink buttons I sewn into the silk flowers and then used silicone glue to fix them onto the card. I finished off the card with silver peel offs. I used a white scalloped card as the base.

There are some lovely cards on the challenge site so do pop over and have a look link

I hope you are keeping well and until we meet again in blog land, take care

Hugs

Margaret
