Tatted Ice drops first 5 of 15

Hi,
It’s a beautiful but cold day here the sun is shining,  it’s going to get colder as the week goes on.
I was asked to make 15 ice drops,   Which I am doing at the moment. This is the first five which I have already sent her.
I am trying to make them all different,  my remit was purple, pink, green, blue and Christmas,  this is the first five as follows
Posy Ice drop by Nicola Bowersox in Purple Splendor and white
Swirl Ice Drop by Crea Helga in Raspberry Frappe,
Bloomin’ ice Drop by Diane in Red and White
Frivolity Ice Drop by Diane in Purple Splendor
Spring Garden by Diane in Niagara Falls
All thread used was Lizbeth no 20
I’ve nearly done the next five,  in different colours and different patterns, just shows how many patterns we have now on Ice Drop Adicts
Have a lovely weekend

Royal Wave

Hi,

I expect you thought it was something else I was going to write about when you saw the heading,  just my bit of fun.   Above is an Ice Drop Pendant made from the pattern Spring Garden Ice drop by Diana.  link to her blog.   I made a small ring at the top for the ring and chain,  and the thread is called Royal wave by Lizbeth in no 20.

And in the same thread,  this is a spinning wheel mat pattern by Mary Konior,

I was using up the thread on my shuttles from the earrings I made for the pin chicks challenge,  Well I just got carried away and finished up with a mat as well,  time to change threads into another colour.

Beautiful weather today  long may it last.,

Tatted Ice drop snowflake and Ice drops

 Hi,
Its a bank holiday in the UK this weekend,  and as usual the weather is not playing ball with storms although the sun has been shinning on and off,  just about right after a beautiful week hot week.
Today I have some Ice drops for you  above it a snowflake ice drop I tatted this is Sea Island Citrus and white with a pale blue gem in the middle,  I was using up the thread on the shuttles from the mat I finished.  The pattern is January reflections by Lenore English.   I had to do an extra ring because my gem is slightly bigger but I don't think it makes any difference to the over all snowflake.   The back of the gem is the usual ice drop pattern and then I work the snowflake pattern which fitted in perfectly.

This Ice drop is tatted in Green Coral sea thread, with a green gem, again I had to do an extra ring to fit the gem,  The pattern is Spring Garden  Ice Drop By Diane link to her blog.

This Ice drop I found I had not posted so here it is,  It was tatted in Carousel thread with a clear gem and very pale green beads,  the pattern is called Root Beer Fudge Ice drop again by Diane.

All the above were tatted in Lizbeth thread no 20.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend

Happy Easter

Hi,
Happy Easter,  the sun is shining but its quite cold here, it was such a beautiful weekend, last week and very warm for the time of year and now we have gone backwards  into the cold.  Hopefully summer is not too far away.
Today I have two tatted ice drops for you both are the same pattern called Spring Garden by Diane,  the top one is tatted in variegated yellow with a gold glass gem and the other is a blue thread with blue beads instead of the picots and a blue glass gem in the middle,  both threads are old I found them in the bottom of the draw and thought it was time I used them up,   they are both coats no 20.
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
                               Hugs
