CD Sunday Challenge - Anything goes # 94

 Hi,

At the moment I am in Tenerife,  so this is a scheduled post,  its time for another challenge at CD Sunday and this fortnight it is Jocelyn who is the host.

For my card I did a fold back card,  using another free image from Debbi Moore website,  this is called roses,  I used the backing sheet from the image,  matted the image onto pink miri card from Hunkydory,  decoupaged the image with the roses,  the butterflies were included with the image,  and added a hand made bow of ribbon,  with glitter peel offs around the sides.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Plus Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD, USB or digital material no matter how small and let us know where and what you used the material from,   and that it is a card or a project.    Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend

Fluttering hearts

 Hi,

Today I thought I would  show you some tatted butterflies,   Actually I made a slight mistake and put the wrong picture,  they are hearts,   (Thank you for your comments,  I have managed get some Wi-Fi to change the post, which I scheduled as I am away).  I made these  recently,  this pattern is by aki-tatting.com,  which   is from her Instagram page and is a free pattern,  it’s also in Japanese but there is a diagram so you don’t need to work out the Japanese to much.

I used Lizbeth thread in white,  peacock blue, purple Iris fusion, Maple butter,  and then Lesur Pixie  thread in yellow all were in size 20.

I hope you like them,

Margaret

CD Sunday challenge - Anything goes # 93

 Hi,

Yes another fortnight has gone by and here we are in September,  and time for another challenge at CD Sunday,  this fortnight I am the host.

This is my first christmas card I have made this year,  Yes I am behind,  and for this card I choose a free download from De bi Moore web site, called Yawning Penguin.

I used the backing paper and matted the image onto gold christmas miri board from Hunkydory,  used the strip with merry christmas that came with the download along with the sign Santa stop here which I put of gold glitter card,  finished the card off with gold line and gold snowflakes,  yes I know they are white but I only had gold or silver so I put some gold ones on the card.

CD Sunday Plus challenge has a Facebook page for those who would like to enter the challenge and do not have a blog,   here is a link to the page

Tatted bookmarks

Hi,

It’s a beautiful day here,  not as hot but I would say comfortable,  we did have some rain on Wednesday not enough no I am not greedy,  but some at night would be nice,  the ground is rock hard and the grass is now a mixture of brown and green.

I made these bookmarks a couple of months ago when I got rid of the flu and to get me back into tatting again.  The top pattern is by Robin Perfetti called cross of sevens,  one of my favourite patterns,  I used yellow Lesur Pixie thread,  it’s a new thread to me and is very bright yellow, and peacock blue by Lizbeth no 20

This bookmark is from a bracelet pattern by Augusta Greco and I used purple Iris fusion by Lizbeth no 20

I hope you are enjoying the weekend here in the U.K. it’s a bank holiday

CD Sunday challenge - Anything goes #92

Hi,

Time for another challenge at the CD Sunday challenge blog,  as usual it is anything goes,   this fortnight the host is Jo.

For my card  I tried something a little different,  I used the backing paper from The Royal Horticultural Society CD by Joanna Sheen.   I embossed an orchid from the vellum orchids by Clair's Crafts,  I have had these for ages and it time I used some,  I used the large size orchid  and with orchid  leaves with pink ribbon placed it on an embossed card,  added a bow of ribbon and a die cut butterfly.

Please remember we only allow three entries per challenge.    Here is a link to CD Sunday Plus Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
