The CD Sunday Challenge, - Spring is in the Air

 Hi,
If I had written this yesterday I would have said it was a beautiful day full of sunshine and definitely Spring is in the Air,   today we woke up again to fog,  frost and  its very cold.   They say its going to get colder with an East wind blowing from Scandinavian,  brrrrrrrrrr.
The challenge this week was Spring is in the Air,  I chose this image although the trees have leaves the image says love which last week was valentines day so combining the two this image says Spring to me,  (I hope it does to you too)  Link to the CD Sunday Challenge blog
I used Joanna Sheens The Pamela West Collection CD. both for the image and backing paper,  I pleated the backing paper to one side but I don't think you can see it.  I matted the image on green pattern metallic card,  the daffodils are stick ons which I have had for some time.  The ribbon bows I made from ribbon from Joanna Sheens on line shop.  I finished off the card with gold peel off's.
I hope you are all keeping well, staying warm and cosy until we meet again Take Care.
                   Hugs
               Margaret

Snowdrops are out in my garden and its looking like things are beginning to wake up.
Its been a long dull and dank rainy cold winter here in the UK, I thought you were having a better winter than us.

  4. It's been a long, cold, snowy, freezing, white and wet winter, and we still have at least 1.5 feet of snow on the ground. A few nights ago the temperatures dropped to -25C!!
So, your card looks lovely and spring-like to me. Actually, I'd like to visit that little spot right now.... ;-)

    1. Hi Wendy
There are two types of CD's, one is with music on, the other is for computers which are the same size but have many images and background papers, plus other bits that can be printed off and then used to make a card. One of the famous names here is Joanna sheen who have the most wonderful CD full of the most beautiful images on. There are so many now on the market over here if I had then all I would need a new house. As it is Vernon's always moaning at me that I have too much card making stuff. My answer crafter can never have too much. I hope that answers your question and thank you for your lovely comments you leave.
