Food Glorious Food

Hi,
There comes a time when what do you put on your blog,   well at the moment its still a one handed job,  its going to be a lot longer than I first thought and it looks like another month at least, so when these pictures arrived in my inbox yesterday,  I knew this would be todays post, so thank you Jim and Kay for sending them.  I like to make my blog interesting so I hope that instead of more counted cross stitch you might enjoy these.

I hope you have liked these pictures,  I think the pictures speak for themselves.
Until we meet again in Blogland take care,  and have a nice weekend.

                       Hugs
                   Margaret

Yes we are high up on the Mendips, so we are out of the flood area, floods were not that far away in fact Frome has been flooded a few times this winter by the River Frome, they will build houses on land that floods and then wonder why.
The Levels are a very special area, I feel for the wildlife such as rabbits, badgers, hares they all live underground so with all this water on top I expect we have lost a lot of animals, they can flood as its peat ground but never like they did this last year. Last winter they said it was a one in one hundred years event strange its not one hundred months since they flooded. The army are on standby this weekend its the high tides that are worrying everyone at the moment as the River Parrot that flows though the levels is a tidal river. I expect they will stop pumping until the tide levels drop.
      Thanks for your comment.

  2. Sorry to hear that it's still going to be a while before your hand is good as new. Wonderful pictures of food. Imagine going to so much effort for something that is so impermanent! Tatting takes time, but at least it's long lasting.
