Hi,
I am scheduling this post as I am away
My friend asked me to finish her knitting, she had knitted the back and would I do the rest, so here it is finished, it is for her grandson who is a year old. The picture is not great but I think you can see the pattern and the random wool.
The wool is Drifter by King Cole, and the pattern sorry I gave her back the rest of the left over wool and the pattern so I cant tell you the pattern number. I can say the wool was lovely and soft and really lovely to knit up.
She's pleased with it and thats all the matters.
Hugs
Margaret

You're a kind friend! I do like the look of the wool. Good that it's ready to be used now instead of lurking.
ReplyDeletewell done, it is lovely, no wonder she was pleased

That is a lovely baby sweater! If I can find it, would you like to finish the one I started for my granddaughter? It was meant for her first birthday. She's now 15... yikes!
ReplyDeleteI found out early in my knitting adventures that baby sweaters can also take a good while to knit, especially cardigans! And, of course, baby clothes are worn for only a short time (it's always good if there are younger siblings!). So I tend to knit only booties, socks, or caps!
ReplyDeleteThis was a wonderful thing for you to do for your friend. It looks nice and warm and just the right size for many months of cold weather!
This is lovely Margaret, it looks nice and warm - you are a good friend.
