Knitted tablecloth

 Hi,

I don’t think I have put this knitted tablecloth on my blog before, I knitted this cloth years ago,  and up to last Monday has been on my dinning room table for a few weeks.  Having washed it and ironed it, I thought as I have nothing else to put on my blog I would show you this cloth.

Many of you  know I do knitted lace,  this cloth is a pattern from the Anna Magazine possibly 1970 to 1990s   It was knitted with no 20 merchandised cotton,  which I think was coats and I think the colour was called coffee and cream.  It’s 29 inches in diameter,    It was hard to photo and show you a more detailed picture but I hope you can see the pattern.   The number of stitches started with eight in the middle and finished off at around 1,000.

..

I do enjoy making the knitted lace and they are not hard once you master knitting on a set of four needles to start with and then transferring on to a round needle.
Hope you enjoy looking at the photos
Please stay safe and well,  I don’t think this virus is going away anytime soon.
Margaret
