CD Sunday Challenge, - Hugs and Wishes

 Hi,
Yesterday the sun popped out oh the joy of seeing something bright in the sky,  it only lasted a couple of hours, today it was back to the dark skies although it did get brighter after lunch,  I am fed up with cloud,  and its so cold,  the last few days its only been a few degrees.
Here is my card for the challenge this week, on the CD Sunday Challenge Blog link to their blog.  Its Hugs and Wishes,  it was hard to find the right image and then I found these that I had printed off to make a card sometime ago,  so here is Popcorn Bear hugging a bunch of sunflowers.  I use Popcorn Bear CD for the background and the three bears holding the sun flowers.   this is one of my favourite images for Popcorn.   I cut three triangles from silver miri board for each bear,  I gave them some shape with a tool,  I like to give images some shape rather than flat on the card.  Put the words on a piece of peach card layered on a small piece of the silver miri board.  Put a piece of ribbon down the side of card,  which is from Joanna Sheens On line shop,  her ribbon is one of the best I have brought.  and finished off the card with silver pell off words and lines.

I hope you are keeping well and staying warm,  until we meet again take care.
                      Hugs
                  Margaret

    1. Hi Michelle

I ask how long it takes to make a card, well some cards just take anything from 15 mins to a couple of hours, It just depends, if you include finding the right image on the computer perhaps going though 3 or 5 CDs before printing off the image you find, then making the card, playing about where it will go on the card to attaching it and then adding say ribbon, flowers or whatever you want to add to the card, I have spent almost the whole afternoon on one card. Hope that answers your great question, , I think tatting a heart would be quicker than making some cards.

I am wishing for sunshine for you. We have lots here and rain too. Have a tropical drink indoors and pretend you are at a beach somewhere. Don't forget some music.
This is a very happy cheerful card!
