You are my Sunshine

This last week sunshine has been in short supply,   I was so pleased to see my sun flower with a flower on it,   I have been trying for the last few years to grow a sun flower,  they either got eat or died,  this year I brought two plants and here it is flowering,
This is a picture of my yellow Day lilies,   I have orange in the front garden,  they were at their best while we were away so no picture perhaps next year,  but these are in the back garden and flowering lovely.  The centre on these is a dark red.
Hope the sun is shining where ever you are.
Take care

  1. I love sunflowers, I used to love going to France and seeing fields full of them, I have 3 tall lilies but the are not quite in flower yet, but I can smell them already

  2. Bet your so happy to see these Margaret, keep telling myself I will plant some sunflowers, they look so pretty, what a shame you missed the others flower whilst away....maybe next year...xx

  3. Bit grey and glum here, so I'm glad to see your bright flowers! Sunflowers are grown as a commercial crop near here.

  4. We have had lots of rain here to but they are passing strong thunderstorms and gives us brief times to mow lawns and gardening, you flowers are beautiful!

  5. Your beautiful yellow flowers make me smile! Michelle x

  6. We did have sunshine today, and it was so nice! I love your beautiful flowers!
