CD Sunday Challenge - Take a Stamp

Hi,
Another fortnight has flown by and time for another challenge from the CD Sunday Challenge group,  this time is was Carol's turn to choose and she went for "Take a Stamp".
This has been my nightmare challenge I rarely these days do any stamping,  so I first had to find my favorite stamp which I like to emboss with,   embossing well that was another thing when did I last do any of that,   so a real challenge.
Anyway I think it turned out quite well,  I used Fantasy by Penny black stamp and embossed it three times in white and green embossing powders,   die cut the image into an oval,   and used the backing paper from A winter walk in the Countryside CD.  I used some silver ribbon and made a matching bow.  I placed red, green and white gems in the branches of the trees,  and die cut a father christmas with reindeer and I cant remember the name of the die, and finished it off with silver peel off Merry christmas.
I hope you will visit the CD Sunday Challenge site, and remember if you want to enter the challenge you must use something from a CD no matter how small and let us know which CD you used.  Here is a link to CD Sunday Challenge blog  we would be pleased to see you.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend
                                 Hugs
                             Margaret

  5. You'd never guess that stamping/embossing was your idea of a nightmare Margaret. You've managed a really lovely card. I love the little scene you've put together with the addition of Santa in his sleigh.

  11. Oh Margaret. I promise not to choose stamping again - at least for a while.
I love what you have done. In fact I have the very same stamp and I also used it with embossing powder but I used Stickles instead of gems. I never thought of using gems.
