Ice Drops

Hi,
Its a cold morning here,  no snow yet but there is snow on the hills in Scotland,   it can stay there.   I thought you might like to see my latest ice drops,   above is Barbara's Snowflake Ice drop  by Barbara Murdock which I use a bungle beads instead of a round bead,  I made the chains a little longer for the longer bead.

This is Cosmic Ice drop by Nicola Bowersox I really do like this pattern,   I used purple beads and because I did not have the right colour gem I found I had the exact colour in a nail varnish so I painted the back of a clear gem.  Works well and matched perfectly.
Both have a spiral chain to hang them on.

Both ice drops were tatted in Lizbeth thread no 20

Hope you are having a nice weekend

                  Hugs
              Margaret

  4. Both are pretty, but I especially like the cosmic one. Clever of you to change the gem colour like that.
