Roses are red knitted cup cakes

Hi,
I made these knitted cup cakes a couple of weeks ago,  they are looking a little drunk they do sit up straight but decided buy the time I had them on the window sill and taking the picture they would fall about.  I made the red roses from ribbon and sewed them on top.  On the left side there is a close up of the ribbon roses.
Hope you have a lovely weekend
   Hugs
Margaret

  4. Good job on the roses. I tried to make some fabric roses the other day and failed miserably. I'm looking forward to seeing your top-down cardigans.

I remember these roses - folding the ribbon in squares & then pulling one tail ! We used to Love doing that with our ribbon stash as school girls, making a colourful bouquet :-) What a wonderful reminder
